Members often overlook some of the benefits available to them through the ski club. Check out what you see here, and never be afraid to ask questions! Some of these may or may not be self-evident!

This just in - for your summer fun!

Neal's Sports Emporium will be having his annual canoe and kayak demo day and on the water try outs on Swartswood Lake in Sussex County, NJ this Saturday, May 3rd.

If you want to try out many types of canoes or kayaks before you buy - this is an event you don't want to miss... manufacturers reps will also be on hand to assist. In addition Neal has some "new" leftover boats at his shop in Sussex...these will have additional discounts. For many years Neal has always offered our club a very good discount on boats and accessories and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of paddling gear.

  • Club members must show their current membership cards.

  • All Council Day lift tickets are available for purchase 8:00 am – 1:00 pm on the days listed above.

  • All Council Day lift tickets are available at any open ticket window including the Group Sales Center.

  • If a club brings a bus, the group leader should make a reservation in advance and does not need to
    bring the membership cards in to the Group Sales Center. We will provide the club one comp ticket per bus as long as they are paying for at least 20 tickets and give Okemo at least 48 hours notice of their arrival. Payment Terms : Upon Arrival. Cash, Check, AMEX, VISA, Discover or Mastercard.

From Windham in NY:

The leaves are gone, the cool brisk weather has arrived and even the first trace of snow has fallen.  The excitement of a great winter season is also in the air here at Windham Mountain.  There’s been plenty going on here since the end of last season.  We’ve added 3 new trails included glades and a new beginner area, almost $2 million in snowmaking improvements including 4 new energy efficient compressors, new entrance and drop-off area and much more.  Before you know it snow will be on the ground and you will be taking your first turns of the 2013-14 season.  Available for you and your club this season are:
 
1.       Ski Club Card

  • A $30 membership fee
  • Includes a free anytime/non-holiday lift ticket if purchased by 12/1/13
  • $25 off midweek lift tickets - $58 retail ticket – with discount, $32 to ski/ride midweek
  • $15 off weekend/holiday lift tickets - $78 retail ticket – with discount, $63 to ski/ride weekend/holiday
  • Direct to lift access
  • Must have valid ski club I.D.
 
2.       Group Rates
  •  Sun – Fri – Adults (Ages 18+) $43, Young Adults (Ages 13-17) $32, Junior (Ages 7-12) $29
  •  Saturday, Non-holiday – Adults $53, Young Adults $42, Juniors $39
  •  Weekend Holiday – Adults $63, Students $52, Juniors $49

Our representative at the Ski Council is Liz Bellamy. She says:

"I can get tickets for the following areas: Bellayre; Bromley; Gore; Jay Peak; Killington;
Mount Snow; Okemo; Pico; Stowe; Stratton; Ssugarbush and Whiteface.
I will only
carry a very limited number of Sugarbush this year. Once those are gone you can
order them—but--- you must pay ahead of time--- as is true of all the other areas.
I need your orders by at least the first Monday of the month.
There are a lot of areas available through your membership card.
Always check the nj ski councils web site for ongoing bargains.

Pocono Card

For $55 you can get card good at 6 areas in the Poconos; money must be in by Nov.22. Contact our Council Rep Liz Bellamy (in the Club Roster) for more details!
